Can't sign in or reset the password

I'm not able to sign in or reset the password for a few days already. Clearing browser cookies doesn't help. Every time I'm getting the below system errors:


Sign in error: "Sorry, a problem occurred during sign in. Please try again."

Reset password error: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

Well the first suggestion would have been to clear browser history and cookies. But you already did that.


Go into your internet options check your security level. 


On the security TAB Medium High should be adequatge.


While still int eh Security Tab single click on Trusted Sites.  When the Sites button comes to life add Best Buy to trusted sites.


You may need to restart your computer. 


The Sorry something went wrong may be generated if you accidentally entered an email address for the account. 


Also, try a different browser.

Welcome to our community.  Being unable to access an account of mine is never a fun experience, and it’s something that has regrettably happened to me on more than one occasion.  I’m sorry to hear you’re now having the same issue on our site, but I would be happy to help you with this.


@bobberuchi has offered a good starting point, but I can also try a few things on the back-end if his suggestions don’t do the trick for you.  In order for me to locate your account, I will need you to send me a few pieces of information in a private message.  A private message can be sent by logging into the forum and selecting the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.
