I'm trying to pre-order Elden Ring (Elden Ring Windows [Digital] - Best Buy) and when I get to check out and click apply reward certificate I get the error "Sorry, but reward certificates can’t be used to buy gift cards or specialty items."  I've tried on multiple devices and get the same error.  Please help.  Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out about the difficulties that you've had with trying to pre-order Elden Ring using your My Best Buy reward certificates. I can understand getting that error when trying to place your order, is not a welcome situation, and I'd be happy to see if I can find out why this may be occurring. 

While there are some items that are excluded from using My Best Buy Reward certificates, as outlined in section two of the My Best Buy Terms, a digital game shouldn't be excluded, unless it is on a point of sale activation or POSA card, which is typically how the digital version of PlayStation games are sold. That said, I'd like to dig into this a bit further to see if I can find out why you are receiving this error and if we can get that fixed for you so that you can complete your pre-order.
