Can't create an account

Hi I can't create a account. It says to "use a valid phone number", I use probably the largest carrier in the country and one that bestbuy itself does buisness with, needless to say its a valid phone number. I've never signed for a bestbuy account before and much less with this number. I even double checked with the forgot password function. At this point I'm pretty sure my number has been skimmed for use with a bot account, probably for botting for graphics cards or consoles.

While checking out as guest checkout does eliminate the need to log into a account, you would need to be able to login in-order to access any points or certificates that might be available, as a member of our rewards program.  I probably login to my own account every few days out of habit just to make sure nothing is missing.  Having an account can also help with the task of keeping track of your purchase history.  Please send me a private message with the details listed below, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I'll see what I can do to help get you logged in.
