Bonus Reward Certificate Email, Clicked Activate and Not Eligible

I got an email offering a $25 Bonus Reward Certificate if I spend $250 by 9/26.  When I click through with the Activate Offer button, the next screen tells me all about the offer and says "It looks like you're not eligible for this offer", but it makes no explanation of why or that that could even be possible except that the offer is only valid for who it was sent to.  I checked the email and it was sent specifically to my email address.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to our Best Buy Support forums! I appreciate you reaching out about the bonus reward certificate offer that you received. I can understand that getting that error message when you're trying to follow the instructions provided, is not ideal. I will be happy to assist with this. 

 

It's my understanding that you should still qualify for this offer, even if it is not appearing to be activated. As long as you make the required qualifying purchase(s) of at least $250 pre-tax, you should receive the $25 certificate within two to three weeks from completing the required purchase amount. If you do make the purchase prior to Sept. 26, and do not receive the bonus certificate after three weeks, feel free to send me a private message with your name, phone number, email address, and details about the purchase(s), and I'll look into this further with you.
