Today i purchased a Nest Learning Thermostat, using My Best Buy Birthday Coupon. However, on the way home i noticed i ordered the wrong color and went back into the store to exchange it. I was told they were not able to exchange it, as it was more expensive then the one purchased (due to the 10% coupon). So, i was told to return the product and they would return my coupon, and i could come in and buy the correct version once the coupon was returned. After doing some research i have a hard time believing the coupon will be returned, and that this was just made up.
Can someone please help me with this, i feel like i was ripped in this transaction.

With that said, I know how important it is to get something in the right color, from your phone to your thermostat. I can understand wanting to exchange this once you realized it was ordered in the wrong color.
