Birthday Coupon Fiasco

Hello, My 10% birthday coupon was emailed to me but it was a bad link, thus I was unable to apply it to a $1300 purchase. The in-store sales associate advised me to contact BB Customer Service to have the certificate resolved / re-issued. However, the BB phone rep suggested I place my request in writing. Therefore, I emailed customer care multiple times with no resolve. I’ve been given the run around and it’s frustrating. I’ve been a BB customer for a very long while. Many of those years were Elite Plus. I keep being told no yet my brother had his coupon activated with no issue. Our birthday is a week apart. How do I get this resolved?

Welcome to the forum and happy birthday! Receiving one of our more elusive birthday coupons is incredibly exciting, and I'm sure you were eager to apply it to the $1300 purchase you mentioned. I imagine you were left scratching your head though when you had trouble with the link. 

My mind is buzzing with possibilities of what may be going on, and what may be done to fix it. Generally speaking, if we can locate the coupon on our end, we can activate it on ours, though you may also be able to locate it and activate it by signing into and viewing your member offers. However, the trouble may also be stemming from multiple My Best Buy memberships, where the coupon was offered under one member ID, while another is linked to your profile.
