Birthday 10% not working

I received my Birthday Email for 10% off. When I click the email where it says “Get Offer” it redirects to my Best Buy webpage where it says “It looks like you're not eligible for this offer”. It says also to bring this email to a store to use. I went to the store yesterday (on my birthday) and the store associate couldn’t figure out how to make it work.

Very frustrated that I get a birthday “gift” but cannot use.

Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

 

With the shear excitement of your birthday, a bonus coupon could almost feel like the cherry on top.  Or like coal in your stocking if you are having trouble taking advantage of the coupon. The error you are encountering leads me to believe that you either have more than one rewards account or that your rewards account is not properly linked to your BestBuy.com account.  All you should need to do is activated the coupon, which should be accomplished by clicking on the button in the email.

 

Let me take a closer look at your rewards account and see what I can do to help.  I might even be able to activate the coupon for you.  Before I can do that though, I will need to gather some additional information from you.  Please send me a private message with the information listed below, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will dive in.
