Bestbuy Cancelled Order and I lost my Reward Certificate

Hello,

 

I placed an order and the delivery person didn't call the buzzer or the phone and just left. I used a reward certificate and it's not appearing on my account again. I contacted bestbuy chat support and they acknowledged it's their fault but I lost my certificate. Can someone please help?

Latest story is 15 days. It appears to be a slow roll on this item and I am sure this is going to drag out.

good luck it's been well over 3 weeks for me and still no points from cancelled order..

apparently there's a "known" issue with their backend (ie they F-ed up things from this Feb 14th change .. as usal untested changes of code pushed to production and now we have this nightmare scenario).. but yeah that's the answer i been getting from calls, chat, support forum and filing a BBB complaint. 

 

It's a "known" issue with no actual time line or estimate of when they will fix it.. i have a very very strong suspicion that they are going to just give this vague answer and never fix it.. dangle a month or two and hope the people with lost points get lost themselves and go shop elsewhere... 

 

fyi i have lost 59500 (equivalent of $1190) so yeah .. you bet i'm salty and upset and have filed BBB complaint.

The new terms and conditions from 2/14 state you FORFEIT your certificates now if you return an item purchased with a certificate (there is no more refunding of points).

 

Of course, they fail to think out scenarios lke orders they cancel or purchases that occurred and were returned BEFORE the 2/14 change to terms was made.

 

And now they are taking away one of the only support avenues for speaking to a representative that is not overseas with these forums being decommissioned on March 20.  It's really like they are tyring to have the worst service possible anymore.
