Welcome to the forum, and thank you for connecting with us regarding the name reflected on your My Best Buy account. I know having my mother's name reflected on the account I primarily use would be most frustrating for me as well, so I understand why you would want this changed.
With that said, as mentioned in our post below, we're only able to change the name on an account under certain circumstances. Furthermore, under our Privacy policy, we would consider the person originally registered to the account as the owner. I would like to take a closer look at this though, so please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for the private message I'm sending your way.
