I am trying not to be frustrated with Best Buy as I have been a faithful customer for a long time. I spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone today for something that seems so simple for me but no one can assist me with.
I am a Best Buy Elite member and am enrolled in the student program. I ordered a computer for my duaghter for college about a week ago. It was $100 off with the student discount. I though I could add my $110 rewards as well, but when I did it removed the $100 student discount. I thought I reversed it, but I didn't. The computer was $100 off automatically but instead I wasted $110 of my rewards and did not use the automatic $100 off. I just want the student discount to be reapplied and to receive either a$100 rewards back, or a gift card or something. I just wasted all my rewards that I have earned using my Best Buy Credit card and lots of purchases. The only suggestion was to return the computer and get a refund and the rewards returned and then buy the computer again. The computer is now sold out so I am unable to do that. No One can help me. So frustrated as a loyal Best Buy customer.
