I am having the same experience. I contacted Best Buy and a case number was created, and I contacted an admin on here. Unfortunately, the admin on here was unable to help me because he said to send a picture of the email that had the promotion in it. The email is deleted. I am still waiting to hear from Best Buy, and I will call him today.
but please let me know if you get this resolved! I too made a purchase after opting in to this promotion, and I only received 5% of the points. It was extremely difficult just to get this issue looked at by the higher ups! I have a feeling I'm going to be out of these extra points. Such a shame because it dissuades me to shop on Best Buy for large electronic purchases!

I agree that it is a good idea to hang onto the emails you may receive with My Best Buy related promotional offers. I'm not going to pretend like every offer we have is without flaws. There are occasions where we may need to intervene to ensure a member receives the bonus they were offered, and to confirm a member was eligible for the offer they are claiming, we may request that a copy of the email be forwarded over.
The email potentially having been deleted doesn't just put a stop to the verification process though, as our My Best Buy team can confirm which rewards account IDs were eligible for a specific offer. After you mentioned having deleted the email, we confirmed with our My Best Buy team that your ID wasn't eligible for the 10% back in points offer.
