All points missing this year :(

Hello, I recently realized none of my purchases for the last year or more have been accruing any rewards points.

This has caused my membership status to lapse to its lowest level, so I'm losing perks on shipping, as well as missing rewards points on about $5k worth of purchases.

I got an error when trying to manually add a purchase on the site, so I called into the phone line on Sun Nov 29th, and the person who helped me there said he had added them all, and I should see them in a week.

I'm a few days past that now, and still not seeing any sign of those points or update of my account status. Like I'm sure most people are, I'm starting holiday shipping, and would love to have those points and shipping options to work with.

Would someone be able to help me sort this out so I can have my account updated in the next few days?

Good morning, AP2021, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,

 

The points and certificates awarded as part of our rewards program can certainly come in handy when trying to save a dollar or two, and during the holiday season, when most people are purchasing more, points and certificates can play an even bigger role than normal.  I can understand having questions about your rewards account if it appears purchases aren't being awarded points, and after a quick peek, I can see why purchases are being awarded zero points.  It actually has to do with your current employment.  I'm going to send you a private message shortly so I can go over those details with you in greater detail, and you can read private messages by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the page.
