Account Not Found

Me and my fiance made a purchase in January after opening a BestBuy credit card for 10% back in rewards. On the receipt we found it was entered under her rewards account incorrectly. When she tried to log in her account there is no account found. When she tries password recovery she gets the email but says it isn't associated with an account. When she tries to recreate an account and does the lookup my member id, when she entered her information it pulled up the member id that is on the receipt. We would like to either get access to the account or if can move the purchase to another account. Thank you.

Welcome to the Best Buy Support Online Forum Community and congrats on your upcoming nuptials! Getting 10% back in rewards on your first purchase is certainly a great incentive. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some issues locating those reward points. I’d be happy to see how we might be able to assist.

 

Can you please have your fiancé reach out to us on this matter? It sounds like her purchasing profile on BestBuy.com may not correctly synced with her My Best Buy membership. Our Privacy Policy shares though that we’d need to speak to her directly on this matter to offer our additional assistance. Please note transferring a purchase from one rewards account to another is not among the options we’d have at our disposal. You’re fiancé is welcome to create her own profile here on our community and send a us private message with her information.
