I have recently legally changed my name and tried contacting customer support to get my account name updated, and was told it had be changed. I keep logging out and back in only to see my old name still on the account. This is frustrating me to the point where I am thinking I would be better off closing my existing account permanently and creating a new one which would be a hassle. Is there anywhere or anyone who I can contact to get this issue resolved instead of resorting to last masures?

Welcome to our forums! It’s important to us to have your information displayed on your account as accurately as possible, so I completely understand your frustration with having to contact our other support teams multiple times to get this updated.
It’s entirely possible your name was updated correctly on your My Best Buy® account, and not your BestBuy.com account, or vice versa, which may explain why you’re still seeing your old information whenever you log in. With that said, I’ll be happy to see what we can do to get your information updated in all our systems, so you’re not seeing your old name whenever you choose to shop with us.
