I won't ever say it's a bad idea for our members to make sure the details tied to their rewards account are accurate, as it can help prevent potential verification issues when attaching a purchase for points or picking up an order. My wife had to update her own rewards account a few years ago after we got married and she legally changed her last name. The option to change/update the name tied to a rewards account isn't one you will find on BestBuy.com; however, that is something I can help with.
