Welcome to the forum! It was incredibly kind of your mom to set up a My Best Buy and BestBuy.com account for you to use while shopping with us. After using the account for so long, I can imagine you're eager to get this under your own name.
You're correct in that we do not have an option for customers to update their names on their own. For privacy purposes, we review such update requests and update names where appropriate. For more details on this, you may wish to review the post below.
