$50 Gift Card with Best Buy Credit Card Promotion

Hello,

 

I participated in the recent Best Buy credit card promotion where you receive a $50 Best Buy gift card for using the credit card for 5 purchases of $20 or more outside of Best Buy.

 

I still haven't received the gift card, despite satisfying the conditions in early February. I previously contacted customer service and was told I should have it by the middle of the March.

 

Is someone able to help me with this?

Welcome and thanks for reaching out with your question. I love how the My Best Buy Credit Card offers great promotions for customers, and know I would be eager to receive a reward if I were in your place.

 

Typically, My Best Buy Credit Card offers typically allow customers to earn My Best Buy certificates instead of e-gift cards. In such cases, certificates are usually posted to the customer’s account three to four weeks after the qualifying purchases have been made. I do see a promotional offer that required activation where customers who made five purchases of $20 or more would get a $50 certificate. That promotion ended on Feb. 29, so if this is the promotion that you’re referencing, the certificate may still be processing.

 

You did mention that you believe your offer was for an e-gift card instead of a certificate, though. There may be a promotion for an e-gift card, but it also required activation. I’m seeing that promo should have issued e-gift cards to qualifying eligible members on March 20. If you believe your offer was for the e-gift card, please check your Spam, Junk, and Promo folders as well as your normal Inbox.

 

If you’re still not seeing an e-gift card, double check your offer email to ensure it wasn’t an offer for a My Best Buy certificate, just in case.  Then, if the offer matches what you remember, please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and credit card billing address so I can begin researching your offer in greater detail.
