10% promotional offer isn't showing.

I just recently signed up for a Best buy credit card and I just got it in the email yesterday and I want to go make the purchase today and I only shows 5% as opposed to 10% rewards and I was hoping I could have that fixed soon cuz the item I want I would like to get this week. I'm excited to use my credit card. The account that it's tied to on Best buy is the same as the email used for this form account.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for not only being a My Best Buy member, but a My Best Buy Credit Card holder. This is an exciting credit card to receive, so I'm sure you were eager to use it. Many customers are most excited to use it for the first time, as your first day of purchases receives 10% back in rewards when choosing standard financing. I understand you're not seeing this though, only 5%, which would leave me concerned as well. 

 

This offer is valid within 14 days of opening the account, as mentioned on our Credit Cards page. As you have the opportunity to save your credit card to a BestBuy.com profile, or we may look up your credit card account in store, there is no need to wait to make your first day of purchases until you've received the physical card. With that said, please also keep in mind that the additional 5% this promotion offers may not be reflected up front, and would be applied appropriately provided the first day of purchases is made within 14 days.

At the time I didn't know I could use the credit card before receiving it so I think because it took two weeks to get to me and not understanding the deal I missed out then. 🤷
