I regularly get emailed coupons/offers but often I get the following message when I try to use them from my account (the one associated with the email I received):
I'm trying to use a 10% off certificate that came in on July 29th & getting that same message. I already placed an order a couple of days ago without the coupon because I was in a hurry but I'd like to use the offer on my next order. It's extremely frustrating. Would appreciate some help. Thanks!

That sort of error when trying to activate a My Best Buy related coupon usually means the member has more than one rewards account and a merge is needed. The coupon is tied to a specific rewards account, and if that rewards account isn't linked to your BestBuy.com account, then you'll get an error message. You may not even know you have more than one rewards account; however, a merge is a great option when a member happens to have more than one rewards account, as it's just easier to have everything in one place.
