I need your help. I purchased $725 worth of projector/equipment from the store in Richmond TX. The sales guy explained the restocking fee and knowing that I was on a time crunch and unsure if the projector I purchased was going to work, I verified with him I had 30 days to return the product. I explained I had to be gone for work and he told me I had 30 days to return- minus the restocking fee. Great.

When I go to return the items today at my local store in Flower Mound TX- because the projector is not bright enough and the screen is too small-I'm told that I am out of my 15-days and there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. NOTHING.

And to add to that, I can't even get a person on the phone at the store in Richmond TX. To add insult to injury, the guy at my local Best Buy said he never would have sold me that particular projector for my intended use.

Of course I'm upset, but is there anything you can do to help me?

Re: returns

Good Afternoon, DontShopHere1,

Welcome to the Best Buy forum and thank you for your patience as we’ve been working to answer all our customer questions. Making a large purchase like a TV or projector should be an exciting experience so I’m disappointed that you’re not liking your at-home experience with your product.

In regards to the Return & Exchange Promise, most products and customers have a 15 day window for returns, though Elite and Elite Plus My Best Buy members do have larger windows for many products, 30 and 45 days respectively. As it’s been some time since you originally wrote in, have you been able to speak to anyone at the original purchase store in Richmond, TX about your situation? Please let me know!

Thank you,
