A $50.00 Best Buy gift card was purchased but never used. Upon the death of the person for whom the card was purchcased we were cleaning out her home and found 3 Best Buy Gift Cards which had not been used. We took the cards to the local Best Buy and were able to use 2 of the cards since they had a "pin". The third card has no pin because the card was issued before Best Buy gift cards had "pins". The store suggested I contact customer service at 1-8881237-8289 for a replacement card. I called not once but, as of today, 5 different times trying to get this card replaced. I was told I needed to know the phone number associated with the purchase of this card since the number on the back of the card was not coming up in the system because of the lack of pin. I explained that I did not know which phone number had been used since we had moved several times and had several different numbers. I was told to gather all the phone numbers and call back. I called my cell provider and requested 12 years of phone numbers which I now have. I called today armed with all the numbers and was told after trying the first number that they did not have time to run all those numbers and there was no way to help me. I requested to speak with a supervisor but was told they were ALL on the phone and they had said to tell me nothing could be done. He asked if I wanted to be put on a call back list, I declined. I called corporate offices but unless I knew the first and last name of the person I wanted to talk to they couldn't help me since the corporate phone directory was only listed by name not title of department. This gift card as well as the new ones have no experation date, so it should not be this big a problem to reissue a card. Please let me know who can resolve this issue. I will be happy to supply the 11 phone numbers to assist in researching this card.

Did you try here
It will ask for pin but try wihtout it.
However, if it does not have a pin the card may well be older than 12 years old.
the phone number asociated with the card would problaby be on the person who purchased it for the person who had it and if they paid cash there would be no phone number.
I would try making a purchase with it online. You don't have to submit the order but once you enter the card it may show the balance.
