insignia air fryer recall—destroy my machine and no refund!

my case is so ridiculous. I bought insignia air fryer and only used for 3 months this recall thing happened. I purchased through bestbuy online and on the receipt there wasn't snowing machine number, so I looked the picture the recall machine looks exactly the same with my air fryer, so I registered for recall and sent?my machine back to them.
I waited for 2 months and haven't got any updates so I call the hotline, they told me my machine has been destroyed but it's not part of the recall machines so they can't get me the refund!
I spent 100$ bought the air fryer and they destroyed it and now they told me can't get me the refund?! this is so unacceptable!

When I registered online to return this recall product it fell in the category which you advertised, and you sent me the box. So I sent it to you in good faith and for you to destroy it without advising me my options which would have been returned to me is unacceptable. So at this point I would expect you to either reimburse me for the total cost of the air fryer or the equivalent of the recall compensation. I would expect a reply from you by November 7th 2022 or I may consider referring this to my legal team.
