I don't live in the US, but purchased a Fire tablet in a store in New York while on vacation.
This device was recommended to me by a store employee.
When I returned to my country I found out that the device and application are not supported outside the US, and that I can't properly use it.
I would like to return it and replace it with a different brand that works internationally. However, I won't be able to do it in the time frame of your return policy.
would you be able to assist me?

I appreciate you thinking us when you decided to purchase a Fire tablet while on vacation, though I’m sorry it hasn’t worked out the way you had hoped. International Orders purchased from Best Buy are intended for use in the U.S. and it is assumed that they will be used within the U.S., as you can see from the informational page linked above. I’m sorry if there was any confusion about this.
Regarding your question about returning your Fire tablet outside of the Return & Exchange Promise, I’m sorry to say, that products must be returned within the time frames specified in that promise which you can see here. Beyond that, as you’ve said you’re not currently in the U.S. I do need to note that Best Buy’s return center is unable to accept items that are mailed from an international address. To discuss your options, I will be sending you a private message shortly. You should be able to view your private messages by logging into the forum and selecting the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
