Hi, antoniomorde, and welcome to our online community!
Thank you for contacting us on our forum for support. I can imagine your surprise to receive an email regarding a password reset that you did not initiate. I'm glad you reached out about this! While it appears that the sender address you shared is in fact Best Buy, I understand your continued concern.
In this kind of situation, we'd recommend you reset your My Best Buy account password, as it sounds like you've already done. Have you seen any additional issues or concerns pop up since then?
Happy to help,

Hello, antoniomorde,
Welcome back to our forums, and thank you for the clarification. Allison is unavailable at the moment, so I hope you don’t mind me stepping in while she’s away.
If you do not have a BestBuy.com account linked to the email address where this password reset email was sent, then it’s possible the email was requested in error. If you’re concerned your email address has been compromised, or someone is attempting to use it to create an account on BestBuy.com, changing the password to your email address as you’ve done, is your best course of action.
Going forward, I recommend continuing to keep an eye on your email inbox for any suspicious emails, and regularly updating your online passwords, to prevent them from being compromised in the future. We also have a Knowledge Base article entitled Online Safety Basics, which you may find useful.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to return to our Support Forums any time.
Regards,
