bought a router

On March 15, 2019 I purchased a ARRIS SB6183 Surfboaed from the Best Buy store in West Ashley, SC. I was told by the WOW salesman over the phone that this is the one I needed! I wanted a modem/router combo. When the serviceman installed my service he told me that this was only a modem. I tried to return the unopened package to the store and realized that when the item was scanned at checkout it scanned the wrong serial number and now I can return the modem!

Any help?

Thank you for reaching out to us here for support. I can understand wanting to return an item that ended up not being what you were looking for, and I hate to hear you've had issues in doing this. 

 

Were you able to speak to a manager when you tried returning the modem in-store?

No I did not speak with anyone except the rude customer service rep that said the unopened item that I had bought the two days before could not be returned!
