Worst customer service

[ Edited ]

I’m currently on the phone been waiting 40 minutes just to speak to a supervisor because the person on the phone will not listen and doesn’t understand how to do their job and keeps arguing with me. If that wasn’t worse enough she didn’t even want to transfer me she refused at first but wait there’s more, before I was on the phone I was chatting with you guys thought text, got transfer a about 4 times and then cut off someone how. This all started just trying to buy a shaving machine which I had noticed that the price was a scam. You guys put up your price and then give a 25% discount on the product that was sold everywhere els for the regular price that you guys are trying to scam people for. All I wanted to do is use my birth day discount but instead you guys told me I can’t because it was already a discount on the product which was clearly not a discount just a scam to say it cost more then it did. I check target, Walmart, Walgreens and even the manufacturer website and they all offered the product for the regular price that Best Buy was selling it for and that’s when I realized Best Buy was scamming me. How do you up the price on something then offer a discount to say it’s on sale if everyone els sells it for the same price without a discount, like literally every one scam!!!!
(Marbert, {removed per forum guidelines}) this is the person on the phone and the case number! You guys are a scam and your people are poorly trained and just don’t care, I can’t believe I spent thousands of dollars with you guys!! Never again!!!
costco Is the new wave they take care of you every time!!! Plus better product insurance! What a waste of 2 hours!

Re: Worst customer service

What item are you referring to?  It is not uncommon for different retailers to end up at the same price via different means.  Whether the item shows "on sale" or "X Price after instant rebate" both suggest that the item is being discounted.  The MSRP on items is generally uniform within a specific geographic area.

Re: Worst customer service

When ever a bunch of companies including the manufacture all have the same price no rebate, no discount just sold at the regular price that’s not called ended up at the same price though different means, it’s called the product price and when another company charges more and say as it’s been discount that’s called a scam! Now you don’t sell AirPods for 160 all over and then say but I charge 210 and it’s on sell right now for 160, that’s a scam. Phillips Multigroom 9000 sold literally everywhere including the manufacture for 89.99(no discount or rebate)even have a picture of it at the Best Buy store for 89.99 no discount but you guys online charge $100 but say it’s on sale for 89.99 and tell me I can’t use a discount because it’s already discounted ,now your telling me your not scamming people? Me I get different prices but when a price is pretty universal like AirPod are but you rise the price and tell people it’s a discount, it becomes a scam.

Re: Worst customer service

$99.99 is the MSRP, this can be verified by visiting the page on Philips own website: https://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/MG7770_49/norelco-multigroom-9000-face-head-and-body

So, offering it at 89.99 with a normal price of $99.99 is 100% accurate.  Whether or not other retailers want to call out this discount is up to them.  However, until Philips makes a change to the MSRP the tag on BestBuy.com notifying buyers that you're saving $10 off the regular price is correct.

Hope this helps.

Re: Worst customer service

Good morning, jeremiah6437,

Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with this purchase. I can understand wanting to make sure you get the best deal possible so I can understand your disappointment to hear that you were unable to use this coupon in conjunction with this sale price. I'd be glad to provide some clarification on how this process works.

Generally, coupons can only be applied to the regular or "was" price for a product. It looks like the sale price is a bigger discount than this coupon would provide which is likely why the previous agents you spoke to were unable to process this order for you.

Your feedback about this purchase is important so we can continue to improve the purchasing experience in the future! I hope I was able to provide some additional details but please let me know if you have more questions I can help with!

Re: Worst customer service

Lmao, you guys are so trash the regular price for it is literally 89.99 no MSRP to, its from Philps them self, so the fact you guys charge more and claim its discount is a scam no way around it! You can keep trying to justify your scam but a scam is a scam no matter anyway you put it.
