Worst customer service ever

I purchased a patio heater online it was delivered while I was out of town. Yes customers do go out of town and perhaps even buy something online while out of town.
When I got home looked at the box and knew this will take sometime to put together so I put it off till the weekend.

When I opened the box there was broken glass inside the box and realized it came from the glass tube that goes inside the heater.

I thought well I’ll go ahead and put it together and contact Best Buy to have them send me a replacement glass.

After contacting them the first time I was told they had to replace the entire heater. That they would send me a new heater And I could use the box the new one came in to send back the old one.

I did not receive the return label they said they would email so I contacted And they resent it. They told me then that the new heater was on its way. It did not show up so I contacted customer service again. I was told that they would not send the new Heater Do to I Was one day late and the return Time allowed That I would be contacted by a service specialist which did not happen for four days.

I called back and was told I would just have to wait Till they got around to call.

I was Lied to several times from your customer service representatives I was told a new Heater Was coming which never happened.

I contacted the manufacture myself and ordered a replacement glass which I paid for Just to get this problem over with.

With this said Best Buy has lost a very good customer due to your Incompetent Customer service. Not only could your employee barely speak English he really did not have any answers for the problem.

I could care less of hearing back from Best Buy ever for I have ordered what I needed paid for it and learned Best Buy will never Earn any of my business again

Oh I left out I Told them my membership was elite he said that did not It matter which apparently it does seem’s elite membership allows longer time periods for returns

Thank you for taking the time to join our community forums and letting us know about your recent experience with this order. I know that there isn't always time to start on a new project in the middle of the week so I can certainly understand how frustrating it would be to set time aside to get this put together only to find a part was damaged.
