WHERE is my Refund Check?

Hi. This entire process has been a hassle. The support calls take forever to connect past the promised "3 minutes" and the chats close out so easily on the app, so I'm writing for help here. 


On April 19th, 2022, I ordered Apple Airpods Pro earbuds and a Kate Spade Airpod case for same-day home delivery. The items were marked delivered but went missing and was nowhere to be found around my home, so I called Best Buy support and the support agent offered replacements for in-store pickup. I went and picked up the items in store, however I found a better prices elsewhere at Costco and Target. So on April 30th I went back and returned BOTH the airpods and the Kate Spade airpod case and was told that I would receive a refund shortly. However it's been 13 days since I made the in-store return and still haven't recieved a refund despite my app telling me that a refund was issued to the payment. 


I contacted support again today via chat and was told that my refund would be sent in the form of a check. THIRTEEN days since and NO check. I don't know if Best Buy is trying to steal $255 from me, but I need to know why my check isn't here yet and what the hold up is with everything. This is my first time with Best Buy and could be my last, because it's never taken this much hassle and time to receive a refund on anything, ever. On top of my order having gone missing after I paid $5.99 for same-day delivery.
