That's what I did a month ago and was told that I couldn't outright cancel it and would have to wait for it to try and charge my account 2 more times before it stopped. Best Buy doesn't even have my new card on file yet they are still able to bill me no matter what.

That's pretty common over the last 5-6 years as banks have updated their systems to perform this action automatically any time they have to issue a new card. The intent is to prevent accidental interruption of services where the payment wasn't updated. Due to fraud a few years back I was issued a new card and about 3/4 of my subscriptions were updated automatically to the new credit card by my bank. It was actually kind of nice because I forgot my RFID toll pass account, I understand it's not helping you in this case.
Here's what I would do: Since it's attached to a rewards account, can't have Total Tech Support or Geek Squad Protection without it, I would see if I could locate the credentials for that Rewards Account. The Subscriptions team should be able to find it by that. If for some reason you do not have any way of finding your rewards account, maybe it's under an old phone number or a throwaway email or something, I would find the transaction where the original charge was made. Online order number, in store receipt, worst case store number and date of the charge. With that information, they have the transaction. It will have the Total Tech Support plan details on it in which the Subscriptions Team can cancel.

This post will likely get combined into the other thread as it has the same solution. I have replied with some additional details to assist, ultimately it will be the Subscriptions team who will need to cancel the subscription. The moderators here do not have access.

Hello,
I wanted to inquire about those who paid for total tech support memberships. Back in March I was trying to purchase a garbage disposal and have it installed. Then shelter in place occurred and was unable to make the purchase with installation. I was told by an employee that it would be extended for the amount of time best buy was unable to fulfill the membership benefits. But I recently got an email to charge my card again. Is best buy honoring the extension of the amount of time that they were not able to provide services?

Great! UPS delivers the laptop today. I unfortunately cannot set it up and use. The AV it came with that was cancelled by "mistake" was for 3 devices. I know that my issue is nothing compared to other issues I read about on this forum but it is still a major inconvenience. I wonder what that Rep who introduced himself as "Alex" was thinking when he cancelled both accounts and getting away with it without repercussions. There should be some sort of accountability for these types of what another Rep I spoke to called, a "misunderstanding".

I'm sure it's upsetting to have to wait a week to be able to use your Anti-virus software, and I am sorry if your phone agent accidentally cancelled this software in the first-place. I'm not sure what is causing this delay, but I do appreciate your patience in this matter. Is there anything specific you would ask of me?

Hi. I have made many attempts via telephonic method to reach someone live to cancel the annual tech support membership.
Please assist in doing this. I am not interested in renewing the tech support membership.

My debit card has been charged $215.74, merchant name is Best Buy Renewal and the merchant Address is Richfield, MN. I'm unaware as to what this is and would like a refund, and for this to be canceled so no more charges are made. I'm confused as to what they're charging me for because I never signed up for anything.
