The official solution on page 2 by Bill-BBY is the correct path to canceling a subscription service, everyone in this thread needs to follow that same path for assistance. The number to speak to someone on the subscription team by phone is (888) 237-8289. The corporate team that work as moderators on this site have no access to these and are unable to assist.

Partial Refund for Cancel the Microsoft Office 365 automatic payment

Good morning.

 

My friend bought a computer for me a year ago, and I activated the Office 365 license. In May 22 this year, was a charge on his credit card about subscription renew. The problem is that I never used this product. I see that when somebody buy this signature on Microsoft, you may cancel and the Microsoft refund your money proporcionally you used before the cancellation.

 

I've not found where cancel this signature and be partial refunded by Best Buy. How can I do that?

Total Tech Support

I purchased the one year Total Tech Support. It was to be cancelled by today or auto-renewed. I never received a reminder email and do not want it extended for another year. I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone for the last few days but to no avail. Even tried online but that didn’t work either. I also think it should be extended a couple months as the store was closed. I have an issue with the car radio I purchased but have been unable to get it repaired before the membership expired but I also don’t want it extended. Please advise.

Unexplained charge in my debit card

Hi,

 

I got a charge of $76.01 in my debit card.

The charge name is BEST BUY RENEWAL RICHFIELD MN.

The only thing I can think of is Microsoft 365 subscription.

But I am now outside of the U.S.

How can I check what that is?

Antivirus issue

My Best Buy Trend Micro internet security software was just auto renewed where I ws charged $49.99. So I purchase an inexpensive laptop which comes with 6 months free Webroot antivirus software. I uninstall Trend Micro and install Webroot as soon as I got the email that the new software was available for download. I call Best Buy customer support to cancel my Trend Micro account and credit me the $49.99 as I no longer use. The rep I speak to accommodates me and cancels my Trend Micro account. He for some reason also cancels my Webroot antivirus account that I just received/installed. I now have no antivirus on my laptop and spent many hours on the phone with Geek Squad trying to correct the issue. I was finally granted a new key code number for the Webroot software. However, it will take 5 to 7 days before it will become effective. Why do I need to endure the inconvenience for a week when their rep caused the issue? Was it wrong for me to do what I did to save a few bucks? I believe that I could have been easily given another keycode by a manager.

Cancelled apple care a month ago; still getting billed

Bought a watch. Do not want apple care any longer. Do i contact apple care or best buy? Chat at Best Buy has been busy.

This is the THIRD month that Best Buy has tried to charge my account for this Total Tech Support that ended months ago. I've called in a month ago and told ya'll that I wanted it canceled and was told that I couldn't and would have to let it try and charge my account 2 MORE TIMES before it will stop. What the hell! That doesn't make any sense! Every time you try to charge that $216.49, my bank declines it and deactivates my card and, lucky for me, rent is due soon. What gives? Please just cancel this service so I can have a debit card for longer than a few weeks again.

You will need to call the subscriptions and recurring billing team at 1-888-BestBuy. The moderators here do not have access to canceling any of the subscriptionS, whether activated in store or online.
