Membership Status

I cancelled my membership today but the best buy site still says payment problem. What can I do?

Are you referring to a Geek Squad membership?  The cancellation can take 24-48 hours to process, so the site may not have had time to update yet.  As long as you've received a cancellation email and don't owe any balance, you should be fine.

I haven't recieved a cancellation email yet. but I have received confirmation numbers.

I bought a laptop in one of your store in Orlando in November 2019. I have just received the email about the automatic renewal for antivirus software. I think there is a serious mistake in your email about the request for the renewal of Trend Micro Internet Security Yearly Subscription.
I would like to emphasize that I have ever NEVER ordered the Trend Micro Internet Security Yearly Subscription when I bought my laptop at your store in Orlando. It is impossible that you can charge me automatically into my bank account without my permission. I ONLY used my credit card to buy a laptop, NOT to register for anything else. Your salesperson did the purchase transaction in your store's computer without showing/informing me of this automatic renewal for the antivirus software.
I would like to ask for the full refund for this renewal as I have never used this antivirus software or installed it in my laptop even with the free trial version that your salesperson gave me when I bought my laptop. I did not even have an account on your Website and I have never received any email to ask about this automatic renewal.I could not call your Customer Center as I am living outside the USA now

I want to cancel my Microsoft Office 365 subscription

Hi I'm Parinya,

I buy the Microsoft Office 365 at the Base Buy, But is not my credit card.

When comeback to Thailand, I can't control renew or cancel my Microsoft Office 365 on my account
Everything link to the Base Buy.  It very bad experiences,
Why we can't perchange the software everywhere ?

 
I want to cancel the Office 365 Personal : {removed per forum guidelines} form the Base Buy.
And the current renew is not my credit card.


Please cancel Office 365 Personal subscription to me.

Extending a Norton VPN subscription

I have a Norton VPN subscription that expires in several weeks. I recently bought a VPN subscription from Best Buy and I don't know how to extend the existing subscription. I would appreciate some guidance. There is a link to download, but I already have downloaded the software. I want to make sure is that the new subscription extends the existing one without losing the months I have left on the original subscription.

Cancel tech support

After weeks of trying to cancel my tech support and my cc has 2 charges from geek squad. When I call I’m on hold for an extended amount of time. I’ve even emailed the manager of my local Best Buy and his reply was not helpful. I was told again to call the 800 number. This morning I had to say I had an issue to get through. My hold time said less than 5 minutes. I’ve been on hold now for 30 minutes. So I found this forum online in hopes that someone can help.

Yeah, the 1-888-BestBuy number has the ability to cancel subscriptions that are recurring while stores don't. The manager pointed you in the correct direction.  Unfortunately there is a long wait time with all the store closures.
