Ideally, sending emails to cancel a service is not ideal. I’m not sure who it was sent to, but I don’t even think that is a currently supported method to do it.

Nothing funny about it. It’s not really a cut in personnel, the support staff is handling calls for everything. With the stores closed, they simply are doing way more work. To get enough people scheduled at any given time, it’s normal to shift everyone into one block so there are no “shifts”. Without being able to hire 10x the number of people, this is the best way to handle it.

I would recommend calling our support number, they would be best poised to assist with your concerns. This forum does have moderators that work out of corporate, and while they can take down your concerns they will not be able to assist with your subscription.

I never mentioned my phone number, cos I from Brazil. Not even my adress as well.

So I can't reach the accout... by the way, I never create one.

Unfortunally my credict card was used without my consent. I bought it in person... Pay with my card, but didn't know this....

The offer requires you to consent to the renewal before the associate can proceed. This will require you to call the support team to clear up.

Incorrect charge and no customer service availability

I was just charged for a year of Microsoft Office, and had never signed up in the first place. I don't even know how Best Buy got my credit card information. I see no options online to cancel this for a refund. I live in London and cannot call the US number, and have not found any customer service email addresses. 

 

This was charged to a credit card I never even use. How do I get a refund? This is incredibly frustrating. Please let me know what information I need to provide.

Office 365 is a yearly subscription, did you purchase a computer or tablet a year ago?  Maybe 2 years or 3 years, etc.?  It's the only way I can think that it could end up in our system for a renewal service, it's not like purchasing a normal item it requires extra steps.  

 

Subscriptions can sometimes be canceled from inside the attached rewards account, but outside of that it would require calling in to do it.

Getting an unexpected charge on your bank account is something no one likes to see, especially if it’s for something they didn’t want to sign up for.

 

This does sound like a possible renewal of that anti-virus program, but cancelling that plan is not something we are able to assist with through the forums.  You would need to call (888) 237-8289 to speak with our subscription services team for more assistance.

Still waiting for my refund

On February, 8th I received an email informing about a automatically renew on 03/09/2020 (Microsoft Office 365 Personal Yearly Subscription) using the credit card associated with my account. I contacted Best Buy chat in the same day {removed per forum guidelines} informing I didn’t want to renewed it and the person who chatted me said he had cancelled the plan and I would not be charged. For my surprise, even requesting the cancel, I was improperly charged $69.99. I contacted Best Buy Costumer Service chat again {removed per forum guidelines} and the person who chat this time said the plan has not cancelled due to some technical issue, but he would request the cancel and it would take 3-5 business day to refund, and 1 billing cycle to show up in my account. Well, today is April 9th and nothing happened so far, i'm still waiting for the refund. I tried to contact the Costumer Service Chat one more time but i couldn't find it. It seems that Best Buy is not respecting its clients as it should!

cancel the subscription

I bought a laptop computer earier this year from BESTBUY.COM

with Microsoft 365 program subscription and Microsoft Internet Security Program 6 month subscription.

 

But I'd like to unsubscribe these programs.

I aleady tried it many times on www.office.com, but it failed.

How can i unsubscribe from the programs?

Geek Squad Annual Support

THey say that WebRoot i included in the Geek Squad support free thyat I pay approximatley $200 a year for.  I am billed seperatley though, $184.03 for upport and $32.46 for security (Web Root).  Just a complaint that i sure would like to have my $32.46 back as I have no use for Web Root!

Hello the description on that seems to refer to transaction with the Geek Squad I would reach out to them at 1-800-433-5778 for assistance
