Based on the price and the "Best Buy Renewal" for the merchant name, this sounds like a renewal for Total Tech Support.  You should be able to confirm this by logging in to your My Best Buy Account on BestBuy.com, or by calling 1-888-BestBuy.

Unauthorized Transaction/ Email support

 

My debit card has been charged $215.74, merchant name is Best Buy Renewal, and the merchant Address is Richfield, MN. I'm don't know what this is and would like a refund, and for this to be canceled so no more charges are made. I'm so confused as to what they're charging me for and how did they get my bank account number because I never signed up for anything.

 

I also tried to find email address to compose a message to customer service but no I couldn't find it.

If anyone know email address please let me know.

$216.04 renewal I did not agree to.

$216.00 was taken out of my account without permission. I need this reversed. I see by reading other complaints that Best Buy has quite the racket for stealing money from customers. $216 is pretty expensive for virus protection. I agreed to much less and only one time, not every year, and not $216.04. There is a major misrepresentation/scam here. How do we fix this? This should be made public over social media and every potential Best Buy customer should be made aware.

Billing Issue

I have a charge on my credit card for: "5/17 BESTBUYRENEWA000015784 RICHFIELD MN            $54.86"

 

It may be something I need, BUT I did not arthorize any charges against my credit card recently.

As someone that went through this recently. The people on this site are going to tell you they cant reverse the charge and you have to call Best Biy customer service. You will be on hold for over an hour and will likely be disconnected before
you reach a person. Best advice is contact your bank and tell them you didnt authorize the charge and let the bank refund you and settle with Best Buy.

Generally speaking, an autorenewal requires swiping (even on a chip card) and acknowledgement to set up. Online orders are a little different. You should reach out to 1-888-BestBuy, if this was truly a mistake during your transaction, going this route would put you in touch with the right people. From working in the store, I know there is no way to initiate an autorenewal from the register without customer input on the keypad.

That’s a renewal. You should be able to confirm your active auto-renewals by logging into BestBuy.com using your rewards login, going to “my account” and the clicking the link for subscriptions and autorenewals. Based on the price, I’m thinking it’s maybe antivirus but I do not know for sure.

GeekSquad Membership Refund

Hello. My laptop has both an Intel and AMD GPU but the AMD GPU wasn't being detected for some reason. I took it to Best Buy (GeekSquad) to have it fixed and paid for the 1-year membership rather than the one-time fix since it was cost-worthy. This was almost two weeks ago. I picked it up today and they couldn't get it fixed. I'd really like a refund. Where can I get a refund?

Never Received Tech Support under Total Tech Support

Hello:
I am a Total Tech Support member.

I bought Netgear Orbi RBR40. My Orbi died on 5/28/2020. I contacted Total Tech Support. Never found any help after multiple tries.

As it was urgent given that I am working from Home due to Pandemic, I had to buy Tech Support from Netgear. As it was under Warranty Netgear replaced my Orbi. But I had to pay Shipping Charge.

I spent $89.99 for Tech Support and $29.99 for shipping charge.Total I spent $119.98.

I appreciate if $119.98 can be reimbursed to me.
