Unfair sale advertising

So last week you guys had a amazing sale on switch games. There were several for 9.99 but they sold out within hours and were out of stock the rest of the sale week. Funny how as soon as the sale is over several are now back in stock. Is this a gimic, is there something you should tell your customers like your only doing this for publicity but not to actually get sell at the price. Shame on you Bestbuy. You should make right on this and honor your prices now that your showing stock on the products you had all along. This is how you loose customers. Please make right on this. Thank you.

Re: Unfair sale advertising

Hi there, belac3871,

Welcome to our community.  I’m always on the lookout for a good sale, and I’m unfortunately all too familiar with the frustration of missing out on a promotion by just a day or two.  It can be even more exasperating to be prepared to make a purchase, only to discover the item you wanted was out of stock.  I was unhappy to hear this experience has affected you to such an extent.

It’s not uncommon for popular items to sell out when they’re on sale for a great price, and it is never our intention to deceive customers as it serves neither you nor us to create ill will.  I assure you this was not a publicity stunt of any kind.  With apologies, once a sale price has ended, we are not able to honor that price on future purchases.  Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback on the matter, and I hope you will stop by our stores again soon to take advantage of other great deals.
