Unauthorized charge

Hello!


I've discovered an authorized transaction on my card. I live in Estonia, I haven't visited the USA this year and I don't have any accounts in BestBuy. The card was issued in August 2018.

 

My bank suggested me to try to contact you directly before opening a dispute. I would appreciate if you can assist me further to solve this issue. Could you please explain me how the transaction was made and where?

Welcome to the Best Buy forum! It can definitely be a disconcerting experience to have your credit card used without your permission. I’ve been there myself, so will be happy to speak to you further.

 

Please review the “Help with Unauthorized Orders on BestBuy.com” article on our Knowledge Base here for some more information on how we would typically advise customers to proceed if they notice an unexpected order. That being said, I see that you’ve also sent a private message to one of our other moderators. I’ll be replying to you there in more detail shortly.
