With the help of a total tech agent through chat, I was able to cancel my yearly membership. They ask me what kind of refund I would like, and I ask why can't you send it to my bank account? They said they could not and could not give a reason. I request a mail check. They said it would take up to 15 days.
I waited 15 days and called them. I'm hearing two different things: either I keep waiting up to 20 days or they sent me an e-gift card. I will wait five more days and call again. An agent tells me that when I canceled it on April 24th they said they would send it to their "back office" (which is made up) and request another check. When I call again in a few days, I speak to Jonathan. I'm going to get everyone's name from now on. Jonathan tells me that when I canceled it on April 24th, it was never really canceled and he would cancel it again for me and send this to their make-believe "back office".
I get a case number and am asked to wait 15 more days. A couple days go by and I decide to go through chat this time because there are long holding times. I got connected to a Geek Squad agent, Edwin P. only to be transferred to the correct agent after providing my case number and asking if there were any updates. II. My check has not been sent out yet. I spoke to Adelyn Johnson. She told me that she would help me cancel my total tech membership. I tell her that I had already cancelled it and she says again that she would find the available options to help me cancel it.
I've figured it out now. I will never see my $200 from Best Buy for my yearly membership. They play dumb, like I've never canceled my membership. They will lie to you and say that you never canceled it or that they never sent you a check. They will say they will send it to their "back office".
Best Buy If you're reading this, please do the right thing and send me my refund via mail check.

I've waitied long enough and i'm tired of hearing that I never canceled my membership or you never sent me a check. Do the right thing.

Best Buy will defently turn off this post so if anyone is reading this they were no help and didn't telle me what I already knew. Don't buy a Total Tech Yearly Membership and have plans to get a refund. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED BEST BUY COMMUNITY.

Hard to give anyone at Best Buy a chance when I'm hearing multiple different things and nobody has been any help. Hard to beileve anyone when you don't trust anyone. They haven't said one true thing yet to help me so don't say give them a chance. You don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Got my check with the help of Blue. Appearntly UPS was delivering it not the regualr postal mail. UPS didn't have my address so it was sent back to cooprate. Blue told me it would be sent out again yesterday. I just got it under my door today. UPS always puts packages at my door. So if they were sending checks and used UPS and they didn't have my adress. That's a totally reasnobale explaination.
