I received an email that says it came from bestbuyinfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com (but I know that can easily be spoofed) and had a question on its authenticity. The email has a subject of "Hey <my name>, Best Buy wants to be your favorite tech retailer." The body of the email says that I am invited to be a Tech Insider and asks me to take a survey. The link for the survey button goes to the domain click.emailinfo2.bestbuy.com. There is a redirect in the url that goes to the site bestbuytechinsiders.com. Is that a legitimate site? visiting that URL goes to https://bestbuytechinsiders.com/v2/login. I tried to do some googling to determine its authenticity but couldn't find anything definitive. I found someone on a forum saying that the real tech insiders login is at tin.bestbuy.com which seems a lot more authentic than bestbuytechinsiders.com. Can anyone verify if bestbuytechinsiders.com is a real site or a phishing/scam site?
I looked into the registrar info and it was created on 6 days ago (10/6/22) and the address is in Hayes, London not Richfield, MN like bestbuy.com. Seems like a phishing/scam site. Has anyone else received that email?
