Should be easier to leave feedback regarding in-store customer service

[ Edited ]

I recently experienced exceptional customer service in the Tacoma, Wa store. I went online shortly after to leave feedback regarding my experience and it was an incredibly difficult and unintuitive. I eventually found a Give Feedback link that seemed to go to a feedback company's platform with inadequate options and unsatisfying methods to provide comments.

This feedback form is an unfortunate way to provide information about my experience. A character limit? Seriously. How helpful is that? I'd reconsider the vendor and platform that you're using for this purpose.
I want to pass along my feedback regarding the customer service I received from Luke {removed per forum guidelines}. I'd like to receive confirmation that. My feedback was neither regarding your website or your stores. But the applications seemed to be limited to that purpose. I had two less than helpful chat session with agents who directed me to that same link. Neither person mentioned the Forum venue for this purpose. I just eventually found it myself.

I knew I'd left feedback here before, perhaps more than a year ago and could find not easy or quick way to get back here.

Among other options, it seems like a customer should be able to go back to their order or purchase history and there would be a quick, easy link from there to offer feedback. All I can presume is that Best Buy doesn't really encourage or seek feedback, perhaps because it might be less than positive comments??

I'd assume that if I'm upset about a customer experience, I'd work very hard to make sure I find a way to leave feedback. And that if conversely, I'm very happy with my experience, I might give up after not finding a quick way to leave positive feedback. An angry customer will be much more motivated to vent their frustration. A satisfied customer is not nearly as motivated, generally speaking.

If you stand behind your customer service, you'll want to find a way to encourage the sharing of those experiences.

Thank you.
