Secure Message not working

I have sent two messages through "Secure Message". According to the website these messages are to be sent to customer service where I should receive a response within 4 hours or 2 days. However, the messages are not going to customer service, they just end up in my Inbox like I sent them to myself. I even get a notification saying I have a new message in my Inbox and the "new message" is the message I sent through Secure Message". How do i send a secure message to customer service?
