Hi ,I recieved a gift card last christmas and wanted to use it and when I scratched it 6 numbers came off.

Thanks for reaching out about your gift card. I understand having some of the numbers scratch off your card is not ideal, as this can make it difficult for it to be used. 

Typically, peeling off the back is the best way to ensure that the card numbers will be legible when you try to use a gift card. This might still work, depending on how badly the number is scratched. You may still be able to use this in one of our stores, as they typically will swipe the card versus using the gift card number from the back of the card. If you are unable to get to a store or they aren't able to get the card to work, we may be able to do a cancel and reissue on the card, but we would need the person who purchased it for you to reach out to us, so that we can try to locate the card purchase to get the full card number.

I read that I had to have the number, didnt know it could be scanned.I will try to use it at the store tomorrow and will get back to you on it,ty.
