Return fiasco

This is ridicilious, I can not believe one of Americas largest companies is treating me like this.

 

Almost two months ago, 03/02/2020 (date of return-arrival), I returned my item to BestBuy. And I am yet to receive a refund.

 

This whole thing has just been a nightmare, numerous phone calls, investigations, emails and what's the end result? Nothing at all.

Dozens of times have I called and just been told to "please wait another 72hrs" or "please wait until I connect you to my manager", and then just been left on hold for over 2 hours, or even hung up on.

 

There was one incidident where I got "connected" to a supervisor and this is all I could hear for 30 minutes until they hung up: {removed per forum guidelines}

 

Very professional!

 

Now I have run out of options. BestBuy is being cheap by outsourcing their support to a very dysfunctional team, and they are clearly not fit to handle incidents like this.

 

I am now taking my chances here. Is there ANY manager or SOMEBODY in charge who can deal with this? I am done speaking to third-party support who has no interest in me or my experience. How long is a man supposed to wait for a refund of over 1000?

 

Please do not recommend me to call because they don't want to help, they can't help and I seriously do not want to wait in another 2h queue just to be put on permanent hold by one of your support agents that does not know how to handle the situation. I feel like BestBuy has scammed me.

Return sent several weeks ago, no refund. Best Buy provided PayPal with evidence but not me sooooo..

  • Return tracking number-label printed from Best Buy, only number listed is orer number-mailed through USPS and paid for myself. 
  • I ordered an adapter cord for my macbook pro and realized it was the wrong size within 24 hours. I contacted customer service and was told that I could not cancel that item but returning it was an option. I returned the item weeks ago (the same day I sent an item return to apple.com and that refund was recieved within 5 days of sending). There is now nothing showing that I started a return on that item, I filed a PayPal claim and was denied and told that BestBuy provided them with evidence of something....and yet I have no clue what that is and have not had a response from them to date. Their customer service call line hangs up every single time I am being connected to a representative.

Refund Status

Hi 

 

I'm checking to see what my refund status  I mail item back via US Mail on April 21 and it was Delived back to Best buy in SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY  on April 23, and i pay with PayPal.. thanks you very much.

 

I be glad to provide the Order number and the Tracking number. for the return

No acknowledgement of return order status

Hello,

 

Please advise regarding the return order status and refund of my package shipped over TWO weeks ago... I ordered Airpods and one of them did not work. I tried emailing, calling customer service, and instant messaging multiple times but could not get through to anyone at all. 

 

This is entirely unacceptable customer service.

 

I understand the circumstances of the times and have been patiently waiting for some kind of acknowledgement that my return has been received, nevermind the refund being processed.... this needs to be addressed as soon as possible. 

 

When will the refund be processed and when can I expect to be notified of this? Thank you.

Refund Not Issued

I placed and picked up my order on March 22. A few days later, I shipped the item back to Best Buy and the return was received on April 3. However, I have not been issued a refund and have no way of getting in contact with anyone on the phone. What can I do at this time to receive a refund?

refund check

i had returned laptop and till now still waiting for my refund check!!its been two months already.. i got the laptop 02/20/20 and returnd it 03/06/20..and today is 05/05/20 and still they told me wait 7-15 days ..but i keep on waiting i even went to best buy store at 1717 HARRISON ST..to ask them but we cannot go inside because of the COVID19..they told us to call 1800bestbuy ..when i call bestbuy it takes some time and they will just tell me to wait for assistance then it always says this is bestbuy assitance good bye..

can i have some help here plss.

Need help with Return shipment that is not being acknowledged receipt by bestbuy

I really need to speak with someone about a return that bestbuy has received (verified by tracking) but it's not showing up as so.  In fact, the online return status doen't even think i sent it back yet.   I can explain this much better if I can just talk to someone.

 

 I'm afraid one of the two items that i shipped back (and bestbuy received) isn't being linked/applied to my return request. I cant lose that return money, i badly need it so can you please help me with this request

 

I hope you get this and can help.  I can't get through on the phone or chat.  I got an automated call back yesterday 10 hours after i called and it only said "we are closed, call back during normal business hours"  Oline chat keeps timing out.

Ordered Item will not arrive and return not processed

I placed an order on 4/27 with express shipping. On the 29th I got an email stating that the order was being returned due to a hazardous materials incident and that after it was received back, the return would be processed within 72 hours.

The package was returned on the 29th. This was verified by a customer service representative named Adam who I was able to correspond with via online chat option. I was previously unable to speak with a customer service representative after numerous attempts via phone call. I kept getting disconnected when choosing the option to speak with a someone. In any case, he verified the return at the warehouse and assured me the refund would be processed very soon. I have the transcripts of that correspondence. That was days ago. We are also now well passed the 72 hour period of the packages return to Best Buy.

I don’t understand the policy of holding peoples money hostage. I paid almost two thousand dollars for something I wasn’t ever going to receive. The return should have been immediate. Especially since Best Buy is now in default of their own policy regarding non delivery. There was no apology or no offer for replacement just a email of the pending return. I have been a good Best Buy customer and have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years. This was a laptop so my children could continue their schooling digitally during this pandemic. I am still waiting for the return of my money so I can purchase this.

Someone there can be a hero and save the relationship between my family and Best Buy. Process the return please.

No Delivery. Still No Refund.

Over three weeks ago I placed an order for a surround sound system. The package was damaged upon delivery (not an issue. These things happen and I understand). Before it was delivered to us we got a notification that it was “returned to sender”. Our card was changed the $200 (the cost of the system) and we can no longer track the order. After waiting for five days AFTER the package was returned to the sender, I called Best Buy to request a refund and cancel the order. It has since been two weeks and we have not been refunded and nobody will call us back or email us back. Hopefully someone sees this forum and can help us get our money back.

Best Buy is scamming customers during COVID 19. I can not get credit for product not Delivered.

On 4/17/2020 I ordered a portable AC on the Best Buy Website and paid for the product with my credit card. 

I decided to cancel the order within 24 hours so I called Best Buy to cancel. Best Buy cancelled the order and told me that becuase the product was already being shipped from the manufacturer I would get a refund once the product was recieved in back in the Best Buy wharehouse. The product was never shipped to my address it went to the Best Buy Wharehouse and was received by Best Buy at their wharehouse on 4/27/2020. It is now 5/6/2020 and I have still not received a refund to my credit card for a product I never received from Best Buy.
