Return without a receipt?

I purchased a pair of Steelseries Arctis 3 headphones exactly 14 days ago. I decided that I want to go with the wireless version instead (Steelseries Arctis 7). I thought I kept my receipt, but I can’t seem to find it. I want to return them today, and buy the other (more expensive) set. Can I do that without a receipt? I used my rewards account when I bought them, so there is proof that I purchased them myself. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You will need to bring in your photo id, the card you used to pay for the headphones, and you should bring your myrewards info with you.  You can also log into your My BB account and get the order number.  That will streamline things.

 

 

As far as the headphones go I went with the Razer Nari wireless.  They are very impresive. Though they are intimidatingly large in the cups they are comfortable.

Ok, I can do that. Only thing that sucks, is a few days after I bought them, I lost my wallet, so I had to get a new debit card. So it’s still the same account. Just a different card number. Will that be an issue?

And yeah, I’ve heard good things about those, except I don’t think how big they are. I really liked the comfort of the Steel series, which is why I want to stay with those. But thanks for the info!

It's important to us that you enjoy your purchase, so I'm glad you reached out to us when it wasn't quite what you're looking for. That said, I'm happy to hear you have another set of headphones in mind that could be a better fit.

 

Having to reissue your cards is never fun, so I'm sorry you're currently going through that. They should still be able to work with you on the return if the ID matches the name on the card used. 

 

If the purchase was made in store, I should be able to track down the receipt on my end if it's attached to your My Best Buy account. If you want me to take a look, and email you a copy if I find the receipt, you can use the "Private Message" option in my signature to send over your full name, phone number, and email address.
