I purchased a windows surface pro in mid Feb, item is still sealed but I would like to return, is it possible to return for store credit outside of return window? I am out of the country for one more month so it will be approx 60-70 days after purchasing.

You can attempt to explain your situation to the store but the final decision is up to the management and the supervisor of that store on if you or can't return it.
If this is an online purchase, standard return policy online applies for returns.
You can see more info here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/pcmcat260800050014.c?id=pcmcat260800...
Here is the deal breaker:
If you live outside the United States, please remember to comply with all U.S. Export Administration Regulations and control laws, and know that return shipments to Best Buy need to occur within the U.S.
So essentially it looks like you may have to potentially eat the cost of the item and find some other way to offload it by possibly using an online service to sell your item.
Return shipments have to occur in the USA even though you live there.

Thank you for taking the time to connect with our team here on the Forums! I can certainly understand wanting to explore what may be possible in regards to a return given these circumstances.
Regrettably, most items would have a 15 day return window as outlined within our Return & Exchange Promise. As hockeycanuckjc also pointed out, there is also a section on that page in regards to returns if you live outside of the United States.
I hope that this sheds light on the return period. However, if you have any others questions that I can assist with at this moment in time, please don't hesitate to let me know!
