Hello! Thank you very much for looking into my query. I checked the tracking on my return package and it has been delivered, but there was never an update on my bestbuy "Order Status" that the package even shipped.
Is this normal and do I have nothing to worry about? I was just wanting to making sure nothing is wrong. I feel like many services usually notify customers when their return has arrived...

No one is ignoring you, the announcement on the front page of this support forum says that with the current traffic you should expect a 5-6 day delay in getting a reply from the moderators as they help the customers who are ahead of you. I would expect them to reach your post in 3-4 more days, although this is a holiday weekend which may slow the result.
Tracking numbers are scanned by the delivery carrier, they notify you that the item has hit the dock....nothing more. The notification from Best Buy will come when they reach your package and begin to process your return. Due to the pandemic there is a delay, related to both the overwhelming amount of packages and the safety precautions taken to keep everyone safe and healthy. Welcome back to our community forums. I know I would want to make sure that a refund was processing normally. I'd be happy to provide some additional details.
As jdogg836 alluded to, our return center is typically processing returns 7-15 days after they have been received. When did this package arrive? Please let me know if it's outside of this time frame, I'll be happy to see how I can help.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to me. It was delivered on Thursday, September 3rd. So it is still within the time frame. I guess I was worried because the order status wasn't updated that the item was received or something.

Back before all the world events that led to delays, our system updated to show received and processing packages more quickly so it’s totally natural to have questions. We’re all working to adjust, but please be assured that all our teams are working hard to keep processes like mail returns moving as smoothly, safely, and quickly as possible.
