Hi, crowellmatt,
Thanks very much for joining us at the Best Buy Community forums. Returns on Apple Watches are a little complex, so that’s a great question.
Under our Return & Exchange Promise, we’d need a receipt or order number to accept that return. If it is a cellular enabled watch, you’d have 14 days from purchase to return it. You may be looking at a restocking fee based on the carrier for the watch since it is opened, depending on your location.
If it isn’t a cellular model, and only has GPS, you’d instead have 15 days. That would be extended to 30 or 45 days, respectively, if you are an Elite or Elite Plus My Best Buy member. There should be no restocking fee if it isn't a cellular model.
I hope that clears everything up. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
