Restocking fees with Totaltech membership

I was preparing to purchase the Fuji X-t4 camera along with a new totaltech membership today. It was my understanding that there are no restocking fees if you're a totaltech member. I decided to check with support before I clicked place order. I first chatted with a general support person who sent me to a totaltech support person to answer my question. I was informed by the totaltech person there was a restoking fee of 15% regardless of totaltech membership. I copy/pasted this direectly from Best Buys website: Members will benefit from a 60-day return and exchange period on “most products,” as indicated in our Returns and Exchanges Policy. Membership also includes a waiver of all restocking fees.

 

I asked what a waiver of all reestocking fees means if they were still going to charge me a restocking fee regardless? Was told no matter what website said, there's a restocking fee on cameras of 15%. So I'm hoping there's someone on this forum that can explain to me whether there is a restocking fee or whether this person was mistaken.

 

Unfortunatey, either way, I won't be spending $2500 with Best Buy today, cause I now can't trust what I'm told and I can't afford to throw away $330 if I'm told wrong.

 

I was already unhappy about the changes to the Elite Plus program but was willing to give Totaltech a try. At this point I'll just find something else to spend Mybestbuy points on, and then look to shop other places.
