We do charge a restocking fee for select product categories if they are returned once opened. You should receive a notification when making purchases both at our store locations and on our website. The restocking fee Best Buy implemented is crazy. It will in the long run slow down buisness at Best Buy because people will start learning of it and be more reluctant to shop. I realize that Best Buy has trouble selling opened items, but one of the reasons a lot of people I know go to Best Buy is because they can be confident that if anything goes wrong they can return it to a real life store and interact with real life employees. This is one of the major strengths of Best Buy. Really sad to see these stupid restocking fees come up.
