I recently was shopping for a television, sony a8h. I saw the price dropped at a competitors site on the television. Before purchasing from that site I figured I would check if Best Buy would honor that price as I have always shopped at Best Buy when possible. I was told on the live chat that the price match would be honored. I was then directed to purchase the telvision online and then a refund would be issued. So I then, at the direction of the customer rep, purchased the television. The rep then submitted the refund and I thought everything had been worked out. Well now I have been back and forth with customer reps because I am being told that my refund has been denied. I have had them resubmit with the same result. So I was basically lied to, probably unknowingly by the first rep, into buying a tv from Best Buy. Had my inital question of "Would Best Buy price match from this competitor" been answered truthfully I simply would not have purchased the television. Buyer beware on Best Buy's price match. I would get the price adjustment BEFORE purchasing as what the reps tell you are not always honored. This experience will certainly change my preference of shopping at Best Buy and I will choose NOT to do business with a company that, unknowingly or not, allows this kind of sales tactics.

I also have not received my price match refund. I did the price match on November the 16th over the phone with customer service and they said that my price match was approved for $643.50 and I would receive it in a week I called back several times again after not receiving it then I was told that I would get it on the next billing cycle so I waited to the next billing cycle my credit card still did not receive it. I have made approximately eight calls to customer service every time they promise me that I'll be getting the refund. I got an email from customer care sanded I would receive the refund part of the Black Friday price match before the 15th of December this is the 16th and I checked my credit card statement online and the refund is still not been processed. I would appreciate any help I could get from you.
