I cancelled my Total Tech Support on 7/5/19 and was told I would be issued a refund in no more than 7-11 days. I waited 11 days to call again and then spoke to someone who said I should wait 48 hours and then expect a refund. That was over 4 days ago. I am frustrated that the $199 hasn't yet been refunded to my debit card.
What could possibly take it so long to be refunded? Last week I had to cancel a renter's insurance policy from some obscure company, and received a refund within 24 hours. This made me realize it is not normal to have to wait over 14 days for a refund to be issued to a credit card.
Why does Best Buy make getting refunds such an incredible hassle??

Hey there, frusrated_rh,
Thanks for reaching out to us on the Best Buy forum about this experience, and welcome to the community. I know I check for refunds on my account pretty consistently until I see they have posted, so I definitely get where you're coming from.
Typically, funds can take up to one billing cycle to post to your account, depending on the policies of your financial institution. That being said, I'd be happy to take a look into your particular situation. Can you please send us a private message with your full name, email address, and phone number? Looking forward to hearing from you,
