Refund help

I purchased a laptop in cash a few weeks ago and was not satisfied with it so I returned it within a week. They told me I would have to wait for a refund check to be mailed to me and so far I have not gotten a check. It has been almost a month and nothing. Is this the kind of support I can expect? Do I need to go start lodging complaints with the BBB?

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. I’m sure that you are anxious to get that refund.


As noted in our Return & Exchange Promise, refund checks should arrive within 10 business days, and it sounds like this is well beyond that time frame. I’d like to look into this for you to see if I can help out at all.


Please reply back to me with your name, email address, phone number, and the customer service PIN from the bottom of your receipt.  Because your privacy is important, I’ll ask that you send that along through a private message by using the link in my signature rather than posting it in this thread.


Once I have that, I’ll dig in and see if I can help locate that check.
